The Circularo alternative for teams that just need contracts signed

Circularo has earned its position: UAE PASS integration, qualified signatures, government and enterprise deployments. If your use case legally requires that, use it. If you're an SME sending commercial contracts and quotes, you don't need a procurement cycle — you need a link your client can sign in two minutes.

The QES question, honestly

Circularo's headline strength is qualified electronic signatures through UAE PASS — the highest evidentiary tier under Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021. Taqeeq deliberately does not play there: we are not a TDRA-licensed Trust Service Provider and do not issue QES. Here's the practical test: does a law, regulator or government counterparty explicitly require QES for your document? If yes — use Circularo, UAE PASS directly, or another licensed provider. If no — and for the overwhelming majority of commercial agreements the answer is no — a simple e-signature with a complete audit trail is what actually gets used, and paying enterprise rates for unused QES capacity is just margin.

The foreign-counterparty gap

UAE PASS-based signing requires every signer to hold an Emirates ID and the app. Dubai and Sharjah run on cross-border trade — your supplier in Istanbul, client in London or partner in Tashkent has neither. On Taqeeq they open a link and sign from any device, in their own language, with the audit trail recording the whole event. This is the single most common reason UAE SMEs end up on a simple-signature platform even when a QES option exists.

Price the job, not the prestige

Enterprise document platforms are sold per user, per module, per year. Taqeeq is one flat price per company — free to try, AED 700 a month for unlimited users, documents and signers — see the full comparison table on the pricing page. If your needs outgrow us into true QES territory, we'll say so — and trying cost you nothing.

Frequently asked questions

Is Circularo better than Taqeeq?
For government workflows and legally-required QES via UAE PASS — yes, Circularo is built for exactly that. For SMEs sending everyday commercial contracts, Taqeeq is faster to start (free, no card), works for foreign signers without Emirates ID, and one AED 700/month price covers the whole company instead of an enterprise contract.
Do my contracts need a TDRA-qualified signature (QES)?
Most commercial contracts do not. QES is required or expected in specific regulated and government contexts. Simple electronic signatures with audit trails are valid for ordinary B2B agreements under Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021 — see our legality guide for the exclusions list.
Can Taqeeq sign with UAE PASS?
No. Taqeeq provides simple electronic signatures with audit trails and is not integrated with UAE PASS. If a document must be signed with UAE PASS, use it directly or via a TDRA-licensed provider like Circularo.
Can foreign partners sign on both platforms?
On Taqeeq, any signer worldwide signs via a link — no ID, app or account. UAE PASS-based qualified signing requires an Emirates ID, which foreign counterparties don't have; Circularo also offers non-QES modes for such cases, at enterprise pricing.
